Job summary

Messiah Lifeways is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to support dining services for older adults in Mechanicsburg. The role involves serving meals, assisting with meal prep and setup, and ensuring residents receive correct meals according to dietary guidelines.

Ideal candidates are dependable, possess strong communication and customer service skills, and can work well in a team. Prior food service or healthcare dining experience is a plus, with training provided as needed.

What You’ll Do

As a Dietary Aide, you’ll play an important role in creating a positive dining experience for our residents. Your responsibilities may include:

• Serving meals with friendliness, respect, and care
• Assisting with food preparation, portioning, and meal setup
• Supporting residents by ensuring they receive the correct meals according to dietary guidelines
• Keeping dining areas clean, organized, and inviting
• Washing dishes, restocking supplies, and assisting with kitchen tasks
• Following food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
• Providing excellent customer service while working alongside a supportive Dining Services team

Schedule

We are looking for a part-time Dietary Aide to support daily operations from 6:00 AM – 11:00 AM. Hours and shifts available may vary based on department needs, but every other weekend and holiday is required for all Dietary team members.
