Ridgeland Senior Living is seeking a Dietary Aide to provide warm, friendly meal service to residents in a home-like dining setting.

The role includes taking orders, serving meals, and assisting with dietary needs and basic food prep. Flexible shifts are available; full-time, 6:00AM–2:00PM or 11:00AM–7:00PM, with weekend/holiday rotations. Competitive pay at $18/hour and quick hiring process.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in food service is preferred.
• 1 year of experience in Assisted Living is preferred.
• High School education or GED required

• Provide friendly, efficient meal service to residents in a warm, home-like dining environment.
• Take meal orders and serve food and beverages with proper portion control.
• Assist residents with special dietary needs and foster a welcoming dining atmosphere.
• Assist with basic food preparation, portioning, plating, and meal assembly according to the menu.
• Follow safe food handling practices, including hygiene and temperature controls.
• Operate the dishwasher and keep dishware and kitchen supplies clean and organized.
• Maintain clean dining and kitchen areas and proper trash disposal.

What You'll Do:

• Provide friendly, efficient meal service to residents in a warm, home-like dining environment
• Duties include taking meal orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring proper portion control
• Assist residents with special dietary needs, foster positive interactions, and support a welcoming atmosphere that enhances residents' overall dining experience
• Assist with basic food preparation, portioning, plating, and meal assembly according to the daily menu
• Follow all safe food handling practices, including proper hygiene, temperature control, and prevention of cross-contamination
• Operate the dishwasher and properly clean, store, and inventory dishware and kitchen supplies
• Maintain clean, sanitized dining and kitchen areas, including trash disposal and recycling

What You'll Need:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High School education/GED or previous work experience
• Experience in working in food service preferred
• 1 year of experience in Assisted Living
