Job summary

Western Home Communities is seeking a caring Dietary Aide to join our team in Madrid, IA. You will assist in meal preparation, serving, and cleanup under the Cook or Dietary Manager, supporting residents with a positive, respectful approach.

Ideal candidates will be at least 16 years old with strong customer service and solid communication skills. This full-time role includes benefits such as health, dental and vision, flexible PTO, and a 401k match.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Strong customer service background.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the preparation, serving and cleanup of meals under the direction of the Cook or Dietary Manager.
• Ensures the dining room is prepared for meals at the scheduled times.
• Maintains clean/sanitized food areas, dishes, and equipment between shifts.
• Responds to resident requests on an individual basis.
