Job summary

Royal Health is seeking a devoted Dietary Aide to support long-term, sub-acute, and memory care residents in our caring facilities.

You will work closely with the dietitian to implement changes, serve meals with care, and help maintain clean dining and kitchen areas. Prior healthcare experience is a plus, and confidentiality is essential in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in long-term care or healthcare setting a plus.
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills essential.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of resident and company information.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal service and ensure meals are palatable and served promptly.
• Support daily cleaning tasks and sanitation per facility policy.
• Set up dining areas and assist in food preparation as needed.
• Deliver meals and manage tray distribution to designated areas.
• Maintain clean workstations and equipment and report supply needs.

Your strong clinical skills and commitment to resident-centered care will help us meet the evolving needs of those we serve.If you are ready to join a compassionate team that values your contributions and growth, we want to hear from you!RESPONSIBILITIESIncluding, but not limited to:Work with the facilities dietitian as necessary and implement recommended changes as required.Serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.Assist in serving meals as necessary and on a timely basis.Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures.Clean work tables, meat blocks, refrigerators/freezers, etc.Set up meal trays, food carts, dining room etc. as instructed.Assist cook in preparing meals.Distribute and collect menus as necessary.Deliver food carts, trays, etc. to designated areas.Perform dishwashing/cleaning procedures.
