Job summary

Western Home Communities is seeking a dedicated Hospitality Coordinator (Cook) to join our award-winning team and enhance dining services for our residents in Cedar Falls, IA. This part-time role blends cooking with housekeeping and resident engagement in a household-model setting.

You will plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals, maintain a clean kitchen, and collaborate with teammates to create a welcoming, resident-centered environment. Training is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Prior food service experience preferred, but training can be provided.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a commitment to serving others.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with residents, families, and team members.
  • Proven organizational and time management abilities to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
