Job summary

HHS is seeking friendly, compassionate team players to join the hospital's dietary team at UW Health Rehab Hospital. As a Patient Ambassador, you will assist with menu selections and deliver meals to patients in a timely, courteous manner, ensuring choices align with dietary orders.

Responsibilities include accurate meal delivery, serving patients with excellent service, and supporting colleagues to keep the department running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Preferred: Culinary experience (cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, hotel operations, healthcare)

Responsibilities

• Ensure each patient receives an accurate meal that matches their order and diet requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service for all patients.
• Deliver and collect patient menus in a timely manner.
• Prepare cold/hot items and condiments for meal times.
• Adhere to the facility’s health and safety policies and procedures.
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently
