Job summary

Lincoln Park Healthcare Campus is currently seeking a Dietary Aide to join our Team. This shift runs from 4pm to 8pm, supporting patient meals and dietary service operations in a hospital setting.

The role involves assisting with food preparation and service, stocking supplies, maintaining cleanliness in kitchens and dining areas, and following safety and sanitation guidelines under supervision. Prior food service experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Receives all supplies and equipment for the dietary department, checking quality, weight, and specifications to ensure compliance with purchase orders.
• Carries or trucks supplies to storage area, fills and delivers requisitions.
• Organizes and maintains storage area in a neat and clean condition.
• Assist in inventories and maintains records of stock received and issued.
• Sweeps and mops floors, take out garbage.
• Organizes and maintains all walk-in freezer and refrigerators.
• Distributes supplies based on prescribed guidelines.
• Deliver hot food trucks to patient care areas.
• Perform cleaning duties in kitchen and hallway areas as assigned by a supervisor.
• Perform utility worker duties or cleaning duties in addition to duties of porter
• Performs all other duties as assigned
