Job summary

Laramie Health and Rehabilitation is currently looking for a Dietary Aide to join our dietary department. We are seeking a team-oriented individual who takes pride in their work. Our enhanced dining program provides culinary excellence.

Shifts include Saturdays and Sundays 5 am to 1 pm and 1 pm to 9 pm (PRN/PT). Responsibilities include reading production orders, placing items on trays, basic food preparation, serving trays at proper temperature, and maintaining cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Required: Food Handlers' Permit.
• Good interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to learn to operate kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Read production orders on tray cards.
• Place items on trays (utensils, napkins, condiments, etc.).
• Perform assigned food preparation tasks.
• Serve food on trays at proper time and temperature.
• Push carts to halls or kitchen.
• Wash dishes and clean work area.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness.

Essential Functions:

• Read production orders on tray cards

• Places items, such as eating utensils, napkins, straws, condiments, and tray cards on trays.

• Performs food preparation tasks as assigned.

• Serve assigned food on trays at proper time, attractively, and at correct temperature. May help with food preparation.

• Pushes carts to halls or kitchen.

• Washes dishes and cleans work area

• Maintains cleanliness and orderliness

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Required: Food Handlers' Permit

• Knowledge of high standards of food service sanitation and safety

• Interpersonal skills

• Attention to detail

• Skill and ability to learn to operate kitchen equipment.
