Job summary

HHS is seeking friendly, compassionate staff to join the dietary team at Kindred Hospital The Palm Beaches. You will assist patients with menu selection and deliver meals promptly, ensuring quality service and adherence to dietary requirements.

Opportunities include full-time and part-time shifts (Day/Evening/Night). Background check and drug screen required; equal employment opportunity employer. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must maintain good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure each patient receives an accurate meal that matches their order and diet requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service for all patients.
• Deliver and collect patient menus in a timely manner.
• Prepare cold/hot items and condiments for meal times.
• Adhere to the facility’s health and safety policies and procedures.
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently.

We’re looking for friendly, compassionate team players to join our culinary team!
As part of the dietary team, assist patients with menu selection and deliver their meals in a timely fashion. Provide excellent customer service to ensure every patient is satisfied with their meal.

• Wage: $16.50/hour


• Full-time and part-time positions available


• Day/Evening/Night shifts available


• Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility required

• Preferred: Culinary experience (cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, hotel operations, healthcare)

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged standing and walking continuously, frequent stooping, and bending and lifting up to 50 pounds


• Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
