Job summary

Belgrove Rehab and Nursing Center in Kearny, NJ is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to support residents’ health through nutritious meals. This part-time role involves preparing meal trays, delivering and collecting them, and maintaining a clean dining area to ensure safety and quality service.

You will work 3:30 PM – 7:30 PM, align with dietary guidelines, and contribute to a positive dining experience for residents and their families.

Qualifications

• Dependable and able to read and write in English.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a dietary role within a nursing home or healthcare setting.
• Strong teamwork and resident-focused mindset.
• Able to work efficiently and maintain cleanliness in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up resident meal trays according to dietary needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and set up resident meal trays according to individual dietary needs.

• Deliver and collect trays promptly and courteously, ensuring meals reach the correct residents.

• Break down trays and handle their contents with care.

• Maintain cleanliness after each meal service, including trash disposal, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing work areas.

• Assist with food preparation for special events and celebrations.

• Deliver daily snacks and ensure food carts are transported to designated areas.

• Support departmental protocols, policies, and health regulations to maintain a safe environment.

• Contribute to a positive dining experience for residents and their families.

Qualifications:
