Job summary

Adept Nursing & Rehab of Blue Hill is seeking a compassionate Dietary Aide to join our skilled nursing team. You will assist with meal preparation and dining service, ensuring nutritious meals are served in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and guests.

Responsibilities include portioning, tray setup, and helping maintain sanitary kitchen areas while delivering friendly, patient-focused service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous food service experience in healthcare or hospitality is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

• Set up trays and ensure proper portioning and presentation of food
• Deliver meals to residents and assist with dining room service as needed
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas
• Maintain proper food storage and labeling standards
• Support cooks and dietary staff as needed
