Job summary

Adept Nursing & Rehab of Blue Hill is seeking a compassionate Dietary Aide to join our skilled nursing facility. You’ll assist with meal preparation and service, helping residents receive nutritious meals in a clean, safe dining environment while delivering friendly, attentive care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous food service experience in healthcare or hospitality is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals and snacks according to dietary guidelines.
• Set up trays and ensure proper portioning and presentation of food.
• Deliver meals to residents and assist with dining room service as needed.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Maintain proper food storage and labeling standards.
• Support cooks and dietary staff as needed.
