Parc at Joliet is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to support our dining team and residents with nutritious, appetizing meals. This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and delivering quality service at mealtimes in a care setting.

Responsibilities include serving meals, assisting with meal trays, and keeping dining areas clean. Must be able to stand, lift up to 25 lbs, and hold a Food Handlers certificate; weekend shifts are required and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Food service experience or interest in dining for residents is preferred.
• Ability to provide friendly, attentive service in a care setting.
• Willingness to work weekends and some holidays per schedule.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals that are palatable and visually appealing.
• Assist in serving meals and setting up trays and dining areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining spaces and follow safety policies.
• Support meal distribution in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Provide courteous customer service to residents and guests.

The Dietary Aide will:

• Serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
• Assist in serving meals as necessary and on timely basis.
• Serve food in accordance with established potion control procedures
• Assist in daily scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Setup meal trays, food carts, dining room, etc.

Dietary Aide must have the following:

• Must be available to work weekendsand some holidays.
• Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 25 lbs. to a minimum of 5 ft. and be able to push, pull, move and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 ft.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time and work at a fast pace while paying close attention to detail.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
• Hold your Food Handlers certificate
