Job summary

Villas of Holly Brook in Jerseyville, IL is seeking a Dietary Aide to support dining services in a full-time role (30-40 hours weekly). You will assist the cook, take residents' orders, and serve meals with a professional, restaurant-style service.

• Weekends required.

Responsibilities

• Set and clear tables; assist the cook and take residents' food and beverage orders.
• Serve residents with timely, professional dining service and maintain a restaurant-style atmosphere.
• Set tables according to Company standards and assist with daily dining room operations.
• Serve beverages and review daily menu with residents.
• Clear used plates, utensils, and clean dining area as needed to maintain cleanliness.
• Adhere to quality standards and food safety practices at all times.
• Assist with special events, banquets, and themed meals as needed.
• Acquaint new residents with menus, seating, and dining options upon arrival.
• Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, and dining room equipment.
• Foster teamwork and cooperation among staff; support other roles as required.
• Maintain proper portion control and ensure resident satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for setting and clearing tables, assisting the cook, taking residents food and beverage orders and serving residents in a timely professional manner.
• Provide a high level of customer service and promote a restaurant style dining atmosphere.
• Set tables in accordance to Company standards.
• Serve residents and guests beverages as requested.
• Review daily menu with residents.
• Remove used or soiled plates, utensils, glasses, linen from the dining room as needed.
• Adhere to Quality standards and standard food safety practices.
• Assist with preparation and execution of special events, banquets, and theme meals.
• When applicable acquaint new residents with menus, seating, and dining options and hours.
• Clean and sanitize carpet, tables, chairs, condiment containers, and equipment used in the dining room.
• Create a strong sense of team work and cooperation among all staff.
• May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.

• Food handlers permit as required by state law and/or Company standards.
