Job summary

Greene Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Catskill, NY, is hiring a Dietary Aide to assist in meal preparation and serving for patients and residents.

You will maintain a clean food service area, restock supplies, assist with menu planning, and communicate effectively with the care team. Shifts include 6am-2pm and 11:30am-7:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals and snacks to patients and residents
• Maintain a clean and organized food service area, including pots, pans, dishes, and utensils
• Restock supplies and check inventory of food, beverages, and equipment
• Assist with menu planning and special dietary requests
• Communicate effectively with patients, residents, and other team members
• Perform other related duties as assigned

About the Dietary Aide Role:

As a Dietary Aide at Greene Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and serving of meals and snacks to our patients and residents. Your duties will include:

• Assisting in the preparation and serving of meals and snacks
• Maintaining a clean and safe food service area
• Restocking supplies and checking inventory
• Assisting with menu planning and dietary special requests
• Communicating effectively with patients, residents, and other team members
