Job summary

Serenity Spring Senior Living at Jasonville is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist with meal service, dishwashing, and dining area upkeep in a Long-Term Care Facility. Flexible and evening hours are available to fit different schedules, with a $500 sign-on bonus and a positive work environment.

Responsibilities include serving meals, maintaining equipment and supplies, and adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience providing quality resident services including needs assessment, meeting quality standards, and evaluation of resident’s satisfaction
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously, prioritise work and resolve emergencies as they may occur
• Working knowledge of sanitary practices relating to food handling
• Good communication skills and ability to effectively interact with others (residents and families)
• Ability to identify and report problems and provide suggestions for correction
• Must perform dishwashing tasks
• Part Time and Full Time Openings Available for All shifts and Food Service/ Dietary Aide:1 year

• Keep sufficient supply of china, silverware, trays, cups and glasses during service periods
• Serves meals to residents in dining areas in accordance with established portion control procedures that are appetizing in appearance
• May be required to complete daily cleaning assignments that include cleaning up spilled food, drinks and broken dishes, unloading dishwasher and removing empty bottles and disposing of trash
• Participates in the departmental cleaning and recycling program
• Disposes of food and waste in accordance with facility / state guidelines
