Responsibilities

• Set up tables and dining areas with attention to cleanliness and order
• Prepare meals under supervision of dietary management or cooks
• Deliver dishes and trays at scheduled times and rooms
• Clear dining areas and collect plates, glasses, etc.
• Dispose of leftovers and take out garbage
• Clean food stations and wash dishes, utensils, and cookware
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory levels
• Assist with expense tracking and menu planning
• Maintain kitchen equipment and appliances

Minimum Requirements

• Proven experience as a dietary aide
• Customer service experience is a plus
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines
• Ability to operate cookware, bakeware, and cooking appliances
• Friendly demeanor and good communication skills
• Good physical condition and stamina
• High school diploma or equivalent; food service certification a plus
• Must pass a criminal background check
