Lake Butler Hospital is a critical access hospital in North Florida providing 24-hour emergency services, inpatient hospitalization, swing bed program, rehabilitation services, outpatient laboratory, and outpatient radiology (X-ray, ultrasound, and CT Scan) services to Union County and the surrounding counties. We are devoted to providing all members of our community with premier-quality health care in a compassionate and inviting environment.

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Dietary Aide/Cashier to join our team on a part-time basis, working from 9:30am-1:30pm during the week (Monday-Friday).

Job Summary

The Dietary Aide must assist in dietary and Cafe operations, patient quality and care, maintain professional guest relations, operate the cash register, stock offsite food storage locations, and communicate with Chef/Supervisor for inventory and ordering needs.

Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma/GED
  • Experience: 2-3 years or more experience in dining services, healthcare setting preferred. Must have worked in a cashier position, handling cash and providing excellent customer service.
  • Skills: Good people skills and communication skills.
  • Knowledge: Kitchen equipment and functions. Serve Safe Certified.
  • Abilities: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
