Job summary

Extended Care LLC is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to enhance the dining experience for our residents. You will serve meals that are nutritious, visually appealing, and served with care to support residents' well-being in a warm, respectful environment.

In this role, you will assist in meal service, monitor portion control, perform daily dining room duties, set up meal trays and carts, and help with snacks as needed — all while upholding safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Availability to work weekends and some holidays.
• Ability to push, pull, move, and lift at least 25 lbs. and carry items a minimum distance of 50 feet.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and work at a fast pace with attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals that are nutritious, palatable, and visually appealing.
• Assist in meal service in a timely and organized manner.
• Ensure food is served according to portion control procedures.
• Perform daily cleaning duties following facility policies and procedures.
• Set up meal trays, food carts, and the dining room to enhance the mealtime experience.
• Prepare and deliver snacks and additional dietary items as needed.
