Job summary

The Hutchinson Hospital dietary team at HealthPartners is hiring a Dietary Aide to support patient food service, cafeteria operations, and dish room duties. You will help provide exceptional service to patients and families in a fast-paced environment.

This part-time role is 24 hours per week (FTE 0.6) with variable start times and every other weekend. Prior food service experience is preferred; ServSafe certification is a plus and may be offered after hire.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent preferred, but is not required.
• Experience in food service preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively via written and spoken word.
• Must be able to perform simple cash transactions.
• ServSafe certification a plus (which will be offered after the employee is hired).

• Perform patient food service duties and contribute to cafeteria operations.
• Handle dish room tasks and related duties.

FTE 0.6, 24 hours per week, variable start times, days, every other weekend.

Preferred Qualifications:

High school education or equivalent preferred, but is not required, food service experience preferred. Must be able to communicate effective via the written and spoken word. Must be able to perform simple cash transactions. Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients. Servsafe certification a plus (which will be offered after the employee is hired).
