Job summary

Methodist Hospital is seeking a Dietary Aide, Union to join our team and support patient meals, cafeteria service and dish room duties. You will provide friendly, attentive service to patients and families.

This part-time role (FTE 0.3, 12 hours per week) offers flexible shifts, including evenings and every other weekend, with on-site work and opportunities for ServSafe certification after hire.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent preferred, but is not required.
• Food service experience preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively via written and spoken word.
• Must be able to perform simple cash transactions.
• ServSafe certification a plus (which will be offered after the employee is hired).

Work Schedule:

FTE 0.3, 12 hours per week, variable start times, days, evenings, every other weekend.

Preferred Qualifications:

High school education or equivalent preferred, but is not required, food service experience preferred. Must be able to communicate effective via the written and spoken word. Must be able to perform simple cash transactions. Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients. Servsafe certification a plus (which will be offered after the employee is hired).
