Job Title: Dietary Aide

Now Hiring Dietary Aides! Hamilton Post-Acute Care is a 55-bed post-acute care center located on the campus of RWJ University Hospital-Hamilton.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare and cook food according to cycle menus and specialized diets
2. Participate in sanitation assignments
3. Deliver and retrieve food trays to nursing units
4. Prepare and print meal tickets
5. Assist patients with menu selections
6. Receive and stock food deliveries

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; related work experience preferred
• Experience in hospital or long-term care dietary departments preferred
• Effective communication skills in English
• Professionalism and confidentiality
• Customer service orientation and ability to work under pressure
• Attention to detail, flexibility, and adaptability
