Job Overview
As a Dining Room Server, you will provide an exceptional dining experience for our residents. Your responsibilities include setting up tables, taking orders, serving meals, and maintaining the cleanliness of the dining area. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for serving the elderly.
Responsibilities
- Set up dining areas with tablecloths, silverware, and glasses
- Take food and beverage orders from residents
- Serve meals courteously and efficiently
- Ensure the dining area is clean and well-maintained
- Assist with dietary requests and communicate with kitchen staff
- Follow safety and sanitation procedures
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor
- Assist with cleaning duties as needed
- Attend mandatory training sessions and staff meetings
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a restaurant or senior living setting preferred
- Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Pass a criminal background check and drug screening
