Job summary

Echoing Hills Village is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in meal preparation and maintain a clean dietary area. This role involves working closely with staff to support individuals in achieving their dietary needs and independence. Full-Time and Part-Time positions are available.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in the food service industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the cook and Dietary Director in meal preparation.
• Receiving and storing food and supplies.
• Cleaning the dietary area.

Job description

The Dietary Aide is responsible for assisting the cook and the Dietary Director in meal preparation according to dietary guidelines for individuals. The Dietary Aide also assists in receiving and storing food and supplies for the Dietary Department and in cleaning the dietary area. This position works closely with staff to ensure a healthy and safe environment, using a person-centered approach to support individuals in achieving their desires and needs for independence.

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Ability to read, understand, and follow recipes, diet orders, and work instructions.

- Ability to take instructions and complete tasks accordingly.

- Prior experience in the food service industry is preferred.
