Reedy River Post Acute in Greenville, SC, is hiring a dependable Dietary Aide to join our kitchen team and deliver quality meal service to residents. You will help set up trays, assist with meals, and maintain a clean, safe dining area in a busy skilled-nursing facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or dietary is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Learn and follow facility food service procedures and routines
• Set up and distribute meal trays
• Assist with meal service for residents
• Clear and break down meal trays following service
• Wash dishes and operate dishwashing equipment
• Prepare snacks, nourishments, and supplements for residents
• Sweep and mop kitchen and dietary areas
• Clean work surfaces, refrigerators, and food preparation areas
• Store groceries and supplies in a safe and organized manner
• Remove trash and maintain a clean work environment
• Assist cooks and dietary supervisors as needed
• Participate in department orientation and ongoing training
• Work cooperatively with team members and other facility departments
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and team-oriented Dietary Aide to join our dietary department. This role is essential in providing quality meal service to residents while maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Learn and follow facility food service procedures and routines
• Set up and distribute meal trays
• Assist with meal service for residents
• Clear and break down meal trays following service
• Wash dishes and operate commercial dishwashing equipmentCheck and document dish machine temperatures and sanitation levels
• Prepare snacks, nourishments, and supplements for residents
• Sweep and mop kitchen and dietary areas
• Clean work surfaces, refrigerators, and food preparation areas
• Store groceries and supplies in a safe and organized manner
• Remove trash and maintain a clean work environment
• Assist cooks and dietary supervisors as needed
• Participate in department orientation and ongoing training
• Work cooperatively with team members and other facility departments
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous food service or dietary experience is a plus but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Licenses & Certifications

• Must obtain and maintain a Food Handler's Certificate
