Join to apply for the Dietary Aide role at Crystal Ridge Care Center.

General Purpose: The dietary aide assignments are determined based on the needs during the shift. He/she reports to the Cook and Dietary Supervisor.

Essential Duties

• Learn food service routines quickly.
• Set up meal trays.
• Strip down returned trays and wash dishes.
• Assist with serving meals.
• Check and record water temperature and chlorine levels of the dishwasher at the start of shift.
• Operate dishwasher and monitor during cycles.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks.
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen: sweep, mop, clean work surfaces, refrigerators, and put away groceries.
• Assist in maintaining a sanitary environment and support kitchen staff as needed.
• Participate in training and orientation sessions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and follow recipes and technical procedures.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to apply basic math concepts.
• Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions.
• Must obtain and maintain a food handler's certificate.

Physical Demands
