Job summary

HHS in Georgia is seeking friendly, compassionate team players to join our culinary/dietary team at Northeast Georgia Rehab. You’ll assist patients with menu selections, deliver meals, and provide outstanding service in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Part-time shifts available Day/Evening/Night with training provided and growth opportunities. Background checks and standard pre-employment screening are required; vaccination status may be requested.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Preferred: Culinary experience (cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, hotel operations, healthcare)

Responsibilities

• Deliver meals to patients in a timely manner.
• Assist patients with menu selection and ensure meals align with orders and diets.
• Provide excellent customer service to all patients.
• Deliver and collect patient menus promptly.
• Prepare cold and hot items and condiments for meal times.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures.
• Assist team members and management to keep the department efficient.

Job Description

We’re looking for friendly, compassionate team players to join our culinary team!
As part of the dietary team, assist patients with menu selection and deliver their meals in a timely fashion. Provide excellent customer service to ensure every patient is satisfied with their meal.

Responsibilities

• Wage: $16/hour
• Part-time positions available
• Day/Evening/Night shifts available
• Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility required
• Location: Northeast Georgia Rehab

Patient Ambassador

• Ensure each patient receives an accurate meal that matches their order and diet requirements
• Provide excellent customer service for all patients

• Deliver and collect patient menus in a timely manner
• Prepare cold/hot items and condiments for meal times
• Adhere to the facility’s health and safety policies and procedures
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged standing and walking continuously, frequent stooping, and bending and lifting up to 50 pounds
