Job summary

HHS is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to join the Northeast Georgia Rehab culinary team. You will assist patients with menu selections and deliver meals promptly, while ensuring excellent service and accurate orders. This on-site, part-time role offers flexible day/evening/night shifts and a supportive healthcare environment.

The position requires 18+ years old, English communication, and teamwork. Background check and drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Preferred: Culinary experience (cook, kitchen, healthcare)
• Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility required

Responsibilities

• Ensure each patient receives an accurate meal that matches their order and diet requirements
• Provide excellent customer service for all patients
• Deliver and collect patient menus in a timely manner
• Prepare cold/hot items and condiments for meal times
• Adhere to the facility's health and safety policies and procedures
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently

As part of the dietary team, assist patients with menu selection and deliver their meals in a timely fashion. Provide excellent customer service to ensure every patient is satisfied with their meal.

Prolonged standing and walking continuously, frequent stooping, and bending and lifting up to 50 pounds

Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
