Job summary

HHS in Highland Springs is seeking a patient ambassador to support menu service and patient satisfaction on the dietary team. You will assist with menu selection, deliver meals promptly, and provide courteous, responsive service to every patient.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility required in the U.S.
• Culinary experience (cook, kitchen, healthcare) preferred.

Job Description

We're looking for friendly, compassionate team players to join our culinary team!

As part of the dietary team, assist patients with menu selection and deliver their meals in a timely fashion. Provide excellent customer service to ensure every patient is satisfied with their meal.

Patient Ambassador

• Wage: $17.50/hour
• Full-time and part-time positions available
• Day/Evening/Night shifts available
• Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility required
• Location: Highland Springs

Responsibilities

• Ensure each patient receives an accurate meal that matches their order and diet requirements
• Provide excellent customer service for all patients
• Deliver and collect patient menus in a timely manner

• Adhere to the facility's health and safety policies and procedures
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment
• Preferred: Culinary experience (cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, hotel operations, healthcare)

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged standing and walking continuously, frequent stooping, and bending and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
