Base pay range: $11.50/hr - $11.50/hr

About the Role

Gallaway Health and Rehab in Gallaway, TN, is looking to hire full-time and part-time Dietary Aides. Responsibilities

1. Assist in preparing and serving meals, setting up trays, and handling special food requests.
2. Deliver high-quality customer service, following dietary guidelines and resident-specific diet orders.
3. Ensure food quality and safety, including maintaining proper food temperature and cleanliness.
4. Deliver and retrieve trays, wash dishes, and maintain sanitary conditions.
5. Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
6. Build positive relationships with residents, families, visitors, and team members.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic arithmetic, understand measurements, and follow instructions.
• No experience required; willingness to learn is essential.
• Good communication, attention to detail, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to anticipate resident needs.
• English proficiency for communication and documentation.

Experience in a geriatric nursing facility is a plus but not required.

Work Schedule

Split shifts including days, evenings, and weekends.
