Job summary

Ventura Services Florida is seeking a Dietary Aide to deliver meals and snacks, assist in dietary functions, and maintain a clean kitchen environment under the supervision of the Dietary Manager.

The role requires following diet lists, strong communication, and a professional, self-motivated attitude. Florida AHCA Level 2 background screening is required for employment, with emphasis on safety and quality care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food carts and trays to designated areas as instructed.
• Prepare and deliver snacks for residents and guests.
• Perform daily or scheduled cleaning duties per procedures.
• Ensure high quality of service in a caring, compassionate atmosphere.
• Assist in dietary functions under the dietary manager supervision.

Duties and Responsibilities: Dietary Aide

• Delivers food carts, trays, etc., to designated areas as instructed by supervisor.

• Prepares and delivers snacks.

• Performs daily or scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures.

• Ensures that customer and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individuals’ needs and rights.

• Provide assistance in all dietary functions as directed and instructed in accordance with established federal, state and local dietary regulations. Assist in preparation, service and delivery of meals and snacks, asssit in maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment under the direction of Dietary manager.

• Must have the ability to follow diet lists, portion foods as specified, and serve food in an appetizing manner.
