Job summary

Village Green Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our team. The position focuses on meal preparation for lunch and dinner, reviewing menus, and ensuring residents receive meals that meet their dietary orders.

Responsibilities include assisting in food service, processing diet changes, and serving meals while maintaining food safety and a clean kitchen and dining area.

Qualifications

• Experience in long-term care settings.
• Serv Safe certification preferred.
• Ability to work with health care staff to ensure nutrition for residents.

This position is responsible for preparing meals for lunch, and dinner. Review menus prior to preparation of food, inspect special diet trays to assure correct diet is served to resident, working with health care staff to ensure appropriate nutrition for each resident. Prepare food for all diets accordance with standardized recipes and special diet order, assist in production of food service line, process diet changes and new diets, prepare and serve meals, prepare food for all diets
