Job summary

Village Healthcare Rehab is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in all dietary functions in accordance with applicable standards. You will ensure quality nutritional services, maintain a clean and safe dietary department, and carry out assigned duties under supervision.

Responsibilities include serving meals, assisting with meal preparation, maintaining hygiene, and supporting the dietary team as needed. On-the-job training is provided; readiness to work in a fast-paced healthcare setting is

Responsibilities

• Serve meals palatable and appetizing in appearance.
• Assist in serving meals and maintaining timely service.
• Follow portion control procedures during service.
• Assist in daily cleaning duties per policy.
• Clean work tables, refrigerators, and equipment.
• Wash and return utensils and clean dishwashing area.
• Deliver food carts and trays to designated areas.
• Assist cook in meal preparation.
• Set up meal trays and dining room as instructed.
