Job summary

Emmetsburg Care Center in Emmetsburg, IA is seeking a Dietary Aide for the evening shift 4-8pm. Join our friendly, caring team in skilled nursing and help ensure residents receive their meals according to dietary needs.

As part of our kitchen and dietary staff you will record temperatures, keep equipment clean and sanitized, and contribute to a high standard of care. Prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience is preferred, but we will invest in the right candidate.

Qualifications

• As a minimum, a tenth grade education.
• Prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience is preferable.

As a Dietary Aide you will assist residents with one of their favorite parts of the day! Your work ensures our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Emmetsburg Care Center by ensuring residents receive the appropriate items for each meal in accordance with their dietary needs, ensuring the safety of food and equipment by recording temperatures, and ensuring the kitchen and dietary equipment is clean and sanitized. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a tenth (10th) grade education. Prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience is preferable, but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
