Job summary

Emmetsburg Care Center is seeking a Dietary Aide for the evening shift (4-8pm) to support residents with meals, ensuring dietary needs are met and safety standards are followed.

You will help with meal service, temperature checks, and maintaining clean kitchens and equipment while contributing to a caring, resident-focused team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10th grade education.
• Prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience preferred, but we will invest in the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with meals and ensure items meet dietary needs.
• Record temperatures and maintain safety of food and equipment.
• Keep kitchen and dietary equipment clean and sanitized.

As a Dietary Aide you will assist residents with one of their favorite parts of the day! Your work ensures our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Emmetsburg Care Center by ensuring residents receive the appropriate items for each meal in accordance with their dietary needs, ensuring the safety of food and equipment by recording temperatures, and ensuring the kitchen and dietary equipment is clean and sanitized. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a tenth (10th) grade education. Prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience is preferable, but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
