Job summary

Lorien Encore is seeking a compassionate Dietary Aide to support resident meals and dining services in our skilled nursing community. This part-time role involves assisting with meal preparation, serving, and maintaining clean, safe dining areas while delivering excellent resident care.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma or GED, be at least 17 years old, and enjoy working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Pay Rate

• $16.00 per hour
• Same Day Pay available for all employees

Part‑Time Benefits

• PTO 40 hours (rollover available)

What You’ll Do

• Assist in preparing, serving, and cleaning up meals according to established standards and guidelines
• Deliver excellent customer service to residents, visitors, and team members
• Ensure the kitchen and dining areas remain clean, safe, and well‑organized at all times
• Collaborate with dietary staff to provide nutritious, appealing meals that meet residents’ dietary needs
• Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and infection control regulations
• High School diploma or GED, a plus
• Must be at least 17 years old
• Previous experience as a Dietary Aide, Food Service Worker, or Kitchen Assistant preferred (but not required)
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced healthcare environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Commitment to excellent customer service and resident care
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks

• Every other weekend availability required (Saturday & Sunday)
