Job summary

Lorien Bel Air is seeking Dietary Aides to help keep our skilled nursing facility running smoothly and our residents well-fed. You’ll assist in preparing, serving, and cleaning up meals according to established standards and guidelines, delivering friendly, attentive service to residents and staff.

This is a full-time role with competitive pay of $15.00 per hour, benefits including PTO, holidays, medical, and more.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is preferred.
• Must be at least 17 years old.
• Ability to lift up to 25–50 pounds.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork.
• Follow sanitation and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing, serving, and cleaning up meals according to standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service to residents, visitors, and team members.
• Maintain clean, safe dining and kitchen areas.
• Collaborate with dietary staff to provide nutritious meals.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control regulations.
• Lift up to 25–50 pounds with/without accommodation.

What You’ll Do

• Assist in preparing, serving, and cleaning up meals according to established standards and guidelines
• Deliver excellent customer service to residents, visitors, and team members
• Ensure the kitchen and dining areas remain clean, safe, and well-organized at all times
• Collaborate with dietary staff to provide nutritious, appealing meals that meet residents’ dietary needs
• Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and infection control regulations
• Ability to safely lift, push, and pull up to 25-50 pounds as part of daily job responsibilities, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• High School diploma or GED, a plus
• Must be at least 17 years old
• Integrity and a strong work ethic
• Must be a team player with a strong work ethic and the willingness to help where and when it is needed

Schedule & Availability

• Full-Time and Part-Time Hours
• 600 AM - 230 PM
• Every other weekend availability required (Saturday & Sunday)
