Lorien Encore at Turf Valley in Maryland seeks a friendly, creative, and compassionate PRN Activities Assistant to bring excitement, connection, and purpose to residents’ lives. You may lead games, assist with events, crafts, and everyday interactions, enriching the community with laughter and engagement.

We offer flexibility with PRN scheduling, a starting rate of $16/hour, and opportunities for additional hours.

Qualifications

• Positive, outgoing personality with a passion for helping others.
• Creativity and enthusiasm for planning fun and engaging activities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience working with seniors is helpful but not required.
• Ability to safely lift, push, and pull up to 25-50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, and leading group and individual activities.
• Support recreational programs that promote social engagement and well-being.
• Encourage resident participation in daily events and special activities.
• Help create a positive, fun, and supportive community environment.
