Lorien Encore at Turf Valley in Maryland is looking for a part-time Dietary Aide to support meal preparation and service. You’ll help deliver meals, keep dining areas clean and safe, and work with dietary staff to meet residents' dietary needs.

Be part of a team committed to compassionate, quality care. A High School diploma or GED is preferred; 17+ years old, flexible for weekend shifts, and ready to contribute to a positive dining experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old.
• Experience as Dietary Aide or related role preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Join the Lorien Encore team as a Dietary Aide and play an important role in supporting resident health and satisfaction through quality meal service. Lorien Encore is seeking compassionate, reliable Dietary Aides to assist with meal preparation and service in our skilled nursing community. Pay Rate

• $16.00 per hour
• Same Day Pay available for all employees

Part-Time Benefits

• PTO: 40 hours (rollover available)

• 7 Major Holidays

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

• Assist in preparing, serving, and cleaning up meals according to established standards and guidelines
• Deliver excellent customer service to residents, visitors, and team members
• Ensure the kitchen and dining areas remain clean, safe, and well-organized at all times
• Collaborate with dietary staff to provide nutritious, appealing meals that meet residents' dietary needs
• Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and infection control regulations

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, a plus
• Must be at least 17 years old
• Previous experience as a Dietary Aide, Food Service Worker, or Kitchen Assistant preferred (but not required)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Commitment to excellent customer service and resident care
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks

• Part-Time

• 6:30 AM-2:30 PM

• Every other weekend availability required (Saturday & Sunday)
