Woodland Manor Nursing and Rehab in Elkhart, IN is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to join our skilled nursing facility. You will assist with meal service, support the cook, serve food trays, and help maintain a clean kitchen to ensure residents receive nutritious meals in a safe environment.

This role emphasizes teamwork with dietary staff and adherence to food safety standards, with a friendly, resident-focused approach and flexible part-time hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous dietary or food service experience preferred, but not required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal service in a timely and courteous manner
• Support the cook with meal preparation as directed
• Serve food trays in dining rooms and resident areas and transport trays to the dishwashing area
• Clean and sanitize worktables, meat blocks, refrigerators, freezers, and other kitchen equipment
• Follow all dietary policies, procedures, food safety, and sanitation standards
• Assist with stocking and organizing kitchen supplies
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
• Work cooperatively with dietary staff to provide quality service to residents

Education
