Job summary

Woodland Manor Nursing and Rehab in Elkhart, IN is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to join our dietary team. You will assist with meal service, support meal preparation, and ensure clean and safe dining areas for residents.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED preferred and being at least 18 years of age. Prior dietary experience is a plus but not required. Benefits and a supportive team atmosphere are offered.

• Previous dietary or food service experience preferred, but not required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal service in a timely and courteous manner
• Support the cook with meal preparation as directed
• Serve food trays in dining rooms and resident areas and transport trays to the dishwashing area
• Clean and sanitize worktables, meat blocks, refrigerators, freezers, and other kitchen equipment
• Follow all dietary policies, procedures, food safety, and sanitation standards
• Assist with stocking and organizing kitchen supplies
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
• Work cooperatively with dietary staff to provide quality service to residents
