Job summary

Christ the King Manor is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to join our dietary department. You will help prepare meals, assemble trays, serve residents, and maintain a clean, sanitary dining environment. Both full-time and part-time positions are available with multiple shift options.

No prior experience is required; we are willing to train the right candidate who has a genuine interest in enhancing the dining experience for our residents. Weekend availability is requested.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of food including main courses, salads, desserts and special diets.

• Clean and sanitize kitchen, dining areas and dishwashing areas.
• Support the dietary staff and follow safety procedures.

Join Our Team as a Dietary Aide!Christ the King Manor is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our dedicated team and help provide nutritious, comforting meals to our residents. At Christ the King Manor, our mission is to provide exceptional care with compassion and respect — and that includes making sure our residents enjoy nutritious, delicious meals served with a smile!We’re looking for an energetic, dependable, and caring individual to join our vibrant Dietary Department Full-time or Part-time for for the following positions:Shifts Available5:45 am - 2:15 pm11:00 am - 7:00 pm4: 00 pm - 8:00 pm Great for students after school!!Performs various kitchen and dining responsibilities, duties are as followed but are not limited to the following:Assists with the preparation of food including main courses, salads, desserts and special diets under the guidance of the Cook.Prepares trays according to appropriate regular or special menus; serves and/or delivers food to assigned locations.Prepares tables and other dietary areas for meals; clears tables in the main dining room.Prepares snacks, juices and other nourishments as assigned and transports nourishment cart to appropriate wings.Serves meals to residents in the main dining room.Sets up dish room and prepares dishwashing machine in accordance with sanitation regulations; cleans and washes dishes, glassware, silverware, trays and so forth either manually or by operating a dishwashing machine.Maintains, cleans and sanitizes the main dining room, kitchen, dish room, food carts and work areas; cleans tables and resets dining room, runs vacuum; cleans dishwasher and sweeps and mops floor.Performs various cleaning duties in the kitchen, serving areas, storage rooms and other dietary areas as assigned and scheduled; scrapes, stacks, washes and puts away dishes, pots, pans and dietary equipment; makes certain that all areas are maintained in a neat, clean, sanitary and safe manner.Wears protective clothing and devices when required and/or appropriate.No experience necessary, we are willing to train the right candidate.Requirements:Ability to perform all the essential functions of the position as stated in the job description.A sincere interest in helping to enhance the dining experience for residents is essential.Strong commitment to customer service; Interacts positively with residents, co-workers and staff.Physical stamina to lift and carry things and to stand and move on your feet for long periods of time.Availability. to work every other weekendChrist the King Manor is an Equal Opportunity Employer and a leader in providing senior care to residents in Clearfield and Jefferson Counties
