AdventHealth in Daytona Beach is seeking a Tray Passer for a full-time, on-site role to support patient meals and nourish teams. You will prepare and deliver hot and cold items per standardized recipes, stock pantries, and maintain safe, clean work areas.

You will operate dishroom equipment, assist with cafeteria transactions, and help ensure accurate temperature logs and cleanliness. The position offers day shifts, competitive pay, and benefits from Day One.

Job Description:

Full Time

Ability to work both 6:30am-3:00pm, Noon-8:30pm including weekends

Prepare and assemble hot and cold food items, including beverages, following standardized recipes and production requirements to ensure quality and consistency. Stock, rotate, and sanitize nursing pantries and bulk nourishments, maintaining accurate inventory records and billing documentation. Serve meals on tray lines, record food temperatures, and deliver trays to patients using proper identification protocols and isolation procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, floors, and equipment, using cleaning chemicals safely and effectively according to required concentrations. Operate dishroom equipment and café registers, process transactions accurate, and monitor sanitation logs and temperature records, taking corrective actions as needed. Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Must have basic math skills and able to communicate in English.
• Good customer service skills required.
• Computer skills required, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Physical ability to perform designated job required.

Education:

High School Grad or Equiv [Preferred]

Work Experience:

1+ experience in food service experience in hospitality or healthcare industry. [Preferred]
