AdventHealth in Daytona Beach is seeking a Tray Passer to join our nutrition services team. This full-time role includes preparing meals, assembling trays, and delivering patient meals according to established procedures.

Responsibilities include stocking pantries, maintaining sanitation, and handling dishroom tasks. The position requires basic math, strong customer service, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Florida-based facility with day shift hours and weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• Must have basic math skills and able to communicate in English.
• Good customer service skills required.
• Computer skills required, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Physical ability to perform designated job required.

• Prepare and assemble hot and cold food items, including beverages, following recipes and production requirements.

• Serve meals on tray lines; record food temperatures; deliver trays to patients with proper ID protocols.
• Operate dishroom equipment and café registers; process transactions; monitor sanitation logs.

Job Description:

Tray Passer

Full Time

Ability to work both 6:30am-3:00pm, Noon-8:30pm including weekends

Prepare and assemble hot and cold food items, including beverages, following standardized recipes and production requirements to ensure quality and consistency. Stock, rotate, and sanitize nursing pantries and bulk nourishments, maintaining accurate inventory records and billing documentation. Serve meals on tray lines, record food temperatures, and deliver trays to patients using proper identification protocols and isolation procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, floors, and equipment, using cleaning chemicals safely and effectively according to required concentrations. Operate dishroom equipment and café registers, process transactions accurately, and monitor sanitation logs and temperature records, taking corrective actions as needed. Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Must have basic math skills and able to communicate in English.
• Good customer service skills required.
• Computer skills required, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Physical ability to perform designated job required.

Education:

• High School Grad or Equiv [Preferred]

Work Experience:

• 1+ experience in food service experience in hospitality or healthcare industry. [Preferred]
