Job summary

AdventHealth in Daytona Beach, FL is hiring a Tray Passer for the day shift. You will prepare and assemble meals, stock pantries, and deliver patient trays following safety protocols. The role requires basic math, good customer service, and proficiency with MS Office tools.

The position offers full-time hours, weekend work as needed, and benefits starting from day one. Training is provided, and adherence to hygiene and isolation procedures is essential.

Qualifications

• Computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble hot and cold food items, including beverages, following recipes and production requirements.
• Stock, rotate, and sanitize nursing pantries and bulk nourishments, maintaining inventory records and billing documentation.
• Serve meals on tray lines, record food temperatures, and deliver trays to patients using proper identification protocols and isolation procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, floors, and equipment, using cleaning chemicals safely as required.
• Operate dishroom equipment and café registers, process transactions accurately, and monitor sanitation logs and temperature records.

Job Description

Tray Passer Full Time

Ability to work both 6:30am-3:00pm, Noon-8:30pm including weekends Prepare and assemble hot and cold food items, including beverages, following standardized recipes and production requirements to ensure quality and consistency. Stock, rotate, and sanitize nursing pantries and bulk nourishments, maintaining accurate inventory records and billing documentation. Serve meals on tray lines, record food temperatures, and deliver trays to patients using proper identification protocols and isolation procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, floors, and equipment, using cleaning chemicals safely and effectively according to required concentrations. Operate dishroom equipment and café registers, process transactions accurately, and monitor sanitation logs and temperature records, taking corrective actions as needed. Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Must have basic math skills and able to communicate in English. Good customer service skills required. Computer skills required, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Physical ability to perform designated job required.

Education

High School Grad or Equiv [Preferred]

Work Experience

1+ experience in food service experience in hospitality or healthcare industry. [Preferred]

Pay Range

$15.45 - $24.73
