Job summary

Oakwood Care Center is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide for the 4p-8p shift to join our friendly, caring team. You will help residents with meals, ensure correct dietary items are served, and maintain safety in food handling and sanitation.

We welcome applicants with a 10th grade education; prior Skilled Nursing foodservice experience is preferred, but we are willing to invest in the right candidate. Equal opportunity employer providing competitive wages and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with meals and ensure they receive the correct items for each meal according to dietary needs.
• Record temperatures to ensure food safety.
• Keep kitchen and dietary equipment clean and sanitized at all times.
• Provide high-quality care and attentive service to residents during meal times.

As a Dietary Aide you will assist residents with one of their favorite parts of the day! Your work ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Oakwood Care Center by ensuring residents receive the appropriate items for each meal in accordance to their dietary needs, ensuring the safety of food and equipment by recording temperatures, and ensuring the kitchen and dietary equipment is clean and sanitized. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a tenth (10th) grade education. Prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
