Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous dietary, food service, healthcare, or restaurant experience preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
• Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation, tray assembly, and meal service according to dietary guidelines.

• Review resident meal tickets to ensure accuracy and dietary compliance.
• Assist residents during meal service as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dining, and food storage areas.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment following sanitation standards.
• Properly store food and supplies according to facility and health department requirements.
• Follow infection control, food safety, and workplace safety procedures.
• Work collaboratively with dietary staff and other departments to support resident satisfaction.
