Job summary

Fountain Park Assisted Living & Memory Care in Bryan, OH is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to assist with meals for residents. You will follow recipes, help maintain a clean kitchen, and ensure meals meet safety and nutritional standards while delivering friendly service to seniors.

Qualifications include GED preferred, 1–2 years cooking experience in large quantities, Serve-Safe certification or willingness to obtain it, and ability to pass background checks and TB/immunization requirements.

Position Summary

Dietary Cooks ensures the meals are prepared to meet the standards of the American Dietetic Association and served in a clean, safe and sanitary manner. This position also maintains excellent customer service and high‑quality nutritional services daily.

Essential Functions

• Assist in preparing meals that are palatable, appetizing in appearance, and appropriate for each resident and must follow recipes and extension sheets.
• Clean and inspect equipment, kitchen appliances, and work areas to ensure cleanliness and functional operation.
• Maintain kitchen in accordance with all state and local health department regulations and ensure the dietary department is inspection ready at all times.
• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.

Qualifications

• Prefer High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
• Prefer one to two years related experience in preparing and cooking food in large quantities.
• Must be Serve‑Safe Certified or willing to obtain it.
• Meet all health requirements including TB testing and all required immunizations.
• Must pass background check and random drug tests.
