A leading healthcare organization is seeking an experienced support services professional to manage dietary and food services. This role involves meal preparation, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. Ideal candidates will have a background in food services and strong organizational skills.
This role focuses on activities related to support services functions, such as dietary and food services, environmental services, general facilities, repair and maintenance, parking, sterilization, and transportation to ensure all required support activities are completed in a timely manner and meet the organization's quality standards and expectations.
In addition, this role involves performing Dietary & Food Services duties: preparing and serving meals based on general or special diets, operating and maintaining kitchens, cafeterias, and counters across entity locations. The role also includes managing food inventories, scheduling vendor deliveries, food preparation, and menu planning while adhering to regulatory guidelines.
This position is suited for an organizational support or service role (administrative, clerical, or supporting daily business activities in a “hands-on” environment). Most of the time is spent delivering support services or activities, typically under supervision. It is an experienced level role requiring basic knowledge of job procedures and tools, obtained through work experience and possibly vocational or technical education. The work is under moderate supervision, with routine problems that may sometimes require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures, and communication that may need explanation or interpretation.
