Job summary

CASCADE HEALTH SERVICES, LLC is seeking a kitchen helper to support daily operations, maintain proper sanitation, and ensure a steady stock of dishes while assisting the cook with meal prep. The role helps maintain orderly kitchen systems and patient care support in a health services setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year prior experience in food service in long term care preferred.
• Must be fully COVID-19 vaccinated.

Responsibilities

• Follow oral and written directions.
• Set up trays and food service carts accurately and timely.
• Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients.
• Bake, grill, steam and boil meats, vegetables, fish, poultry and other foods.
• Serve and bus trays.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes.
• Handle and store ingredients and food.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
